CRAWL THE OZARKS IS A NOT FOR PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT IS DESIGNED TO ENCOURAGE OFF-ROAD ENTHUSIASTS TO GET OUT ON THE TRAILS IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT WITH SKILLED TRAIL GUIDES. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO THIS EVENT. FROM NEW TO EXPERIENCED, STOCK TO HEAVILY MODIFIED ROCK CRAWLERS, YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND ON THE TRAILS WHILE MEETING NEW PEOPLE. OUR GOAL FOR OUR EVENTS IS TO HAVE FUN WITH LIKE MINDED PEOPLE. WE ARE ALL ABOUT CAMARADERIE. WE ARE AVID OFF-ROADERS WHO LOVE TO SHARE OUR PASSION WITH OTHERS, LAUGH, JOKE, AND TEACH.
ALL THE PROFITS FROM OUR EVENT ARE DONATED TO A LOCAL CHARITY THAT BENEFITS VETERANS AND RESCUE DOGS.
This event is centered around OFF-ROAD vehicles. They are not required to be a Jeep, however that will be the most predominate brand of vehicle in attendance.
Vehicles we do not recommend
for this event:
Newer Jeep Cherokees
(XJ, ZJ, WJ, and WK are acceptable)
Vehicles with tire sizes under 31".
Proper communication on the trail is very important. Some form of radio is required for the event. Our guides will be using some type of programmable VHF/UHF radio, the most popular is the Baofeng BF-F8HP, or something similar. A CB will not be a reliable form of communication for this event. If you are not able to get a VHF/UHF radio, a GMRS/FRS radio from a farm store would be better than nothing. If your radio needs programmed, we will have two designated people at check-in, there to program your radios with the proper channels.
SMORR IS A CASH ONLY PARK
We will have multiple vendors this year for you to purchase beverages, clothing, parts, and various other things. Cash on hand would work best for purchasing items as internet service is spotty for debit/credit transactions.
We will also be having a live auction with multiple items that will go into the triple digits. We will take PayPal, and Venmo. However, CASH IS KING.
You will also be able to purchase Raffle tickets Saturday, on site.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
My most sincere thank you to everyone for Crawl the Ozarks this weekend! It was an amazing event, you'd think this event has been running for years and years it was so smooth. Especially everyone behind the scenes that put it on, a ton of work goes into the planning and keeping it running while everyone is wheeling. The organization, the food, the scheduling, as well the guides and the attendees, just incredible all around.
Crawl the Ozarks is awesome! 2020 was the first time we had gone to the event. WOW, What a great time, at a well put together event. I know that we will be making plans to attend every event they have in the future. We didn't know what to expect, all we had ever done was go to Moab. This was a totally different experience, completely different style of wheeling. The people that put this together are very helpful, and make sure you're not getting in over your head.
Huge shout out to the CTO staff. I messaged them with a question concerning the dinner meals because of dietary restrictions. They have gone above and beyond not only answering my question, but also providing a suitable substitute. I can't thank them enough for helping make this a thoroughly enjoyable experience for my wife and I. Thank you all again!
